Highlander: The Raven
Posted by Unknown
Why didn't this spinoff series work? There are so many reasons. Let's start at the top.I think the lead wasn't strong enough. And that wasn't Elizabeth Gracen's fault. The character of Amanda was a fabulous supporting character and love interest for Duncan. I always liked her a lot and enjoyed every episode she did on the original series. But Amanda was never written to be a lead

Guardian: "There can be only me."
This review contains spoilers. But don't let that stop you. You don't want to waste your time by actually watching this movie.
Highlander doesn't have the greatest of reps when it comes to movies. They're all B movies. Sometimes C. The second Highlander movie was an F. I'd say this one was a D minus. I swear, the freaking
Highlander 3: The Final Dimension

Alex: "'There can be only one.' Only one what?"
Realizing the ghastly mistake they had made with Highlander 2, the very same producers decided that the answer was to just re-make the first movie. Yes, it was a smart decision to retcon the entire second movie, but remaking the first one was not the way to go.
The Final Dimension had Christopher Lambert reprise his role as

It probably won't surprise you to hear that I'm taking on Supernatural, since I'm sort of half reviewing it already. Why Supernatural and not Prison Break? Because even though

Highlander series timeline

While writing the series reviews, I kept track of the flashbacks. In the episodes where no year is given, I used the DVD Watcher Chronicles as my source. If there were two flashbacks in a given year, I guessed which came first. And I had no idea this list would be so long. (Season and episode number are given in parens.)B.D. (Before Duncan)Bronze Age. The Four Horsemen and Cassandra. (5.11)Bronze
Depressed about Buffy, I turn to Highlander reruns for solace

May 3, 2003[Originally a Billie's Bytes column.]There are only three episodes remaining of Buffy, and possibly only one of Angel, since its fate has not yet been announced. In just a few short weeks, the finales will have finale'd (and I'll certainly be talking about them in my column). And then it will be summer. Or as I refer to it, the television wasteland. But there is hope. (No Faith, but
