And yet more polls

Right now, I'm doing four shows: Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Veronica Mars, Smallville. I love all four and I'm not dropping any of them. I'm considering doing reviews of a couple of other shows ONLY DURING THE WINTER HIATUS AND SUMMER. Keeping in mind that it won't be current, which show or shows would you most like me to add? You can vote for more than one.[Note from later: I'm leaving this

Responses to the reader survey

It's way past time for me to respond to all of the votes and wonderful comments and suggestions. You guys are terrific. Thank you all, so much. What this poll gave me was a strong nudge toward Veronica Mars. I saw the first season on DVD and loved it. I'm missing the second season, partly because I didn't watch the DVD as soon as it came out, but mostly because it airs at the same time as Lost

Extremely important reader survey

(Well, sort of important.)I have every intention of continuing to review Lost and Battlestar Galactica; they're my two favorite shows. But the end of Alias is approaching on little cat feet, I'm nearly finished with Nikita, and I'm feeling iffy about The Dead Zone. I've started thinking seriously about taking on another show or two. Taking on a new show is a serious commitment of time and effort

Boring travel photos

As promised, I've written some text and uploaded photos from my recent trip to Europe. This was my first trip out of the United States; I did the most benign and predictable touristy things. Wanna see a photo of the Mona Lisa?http://www.worldisround.com/home/billiedoux/index.htmlEnjoy!

Billie Doux's European vacation

I have just returned from ten days in Europe, which is why I'm behind with the Battlestar Galactica and Dead Zone reviews. I should be caught up soon. This was my very first international trip. Highlights for me were definitely Notre Dame de Paris, which I found absolutely overwhelming, and the impressionist wing of the Musee D'Orsay, which was also a religious experience.More soon, I promise.

My site is now complete

Yes, my Death Star is now fully operational. All of my reviews are on my home page. This was no small thing. I've been coding my brains out for two weeks, trying to get them all up before TV Tome went down. I just missed it by about two days. Please stop by and check it out, if you haven't already.Billie

Billie Doux, the Blog

I'm Billie Doux, and I review sci-fi (and mildly sci-fi related) shows for several web sites. I've been doing it since 1997. Currently, I review Lost, Alias, and The Dead Zone. I used to review Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.I was a featured reviewer on TVTome, which used to be a huge, wonderful, fan-run site. It was the easiest site to navigate, a reliable archive for my reviews.
